Hamill Creek Timber Frame Homes’ green timber framing styles and building practices enable us to contribute to those clients wishing to build a LEED certified home. All of the Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Spruce, Pine and Larch that we use, is harvested from sustainable and ethically managed forests.
After this wood is sourced, the process of turning these logs into timber frames begins at our onsite sawmill, where the logs are hewn into timbers. These timbers are then crafted by our skilled Timberwrights, using a mix of traditional timber framing methods, and modern state of the art technology.
